GERMAN HQ OPEN DAY ITINERARY

Our open day event in June 2008 proved so popular we have decided to run this event more often. Our German HQ is in Erkheim, in the heart of Bavaria.  Come and join us and enjoy traditional German hospitality, talks and demonstrations, a tour of the factory and show houses as well as the new ‘House of Ideas building’ which is sure to give you plenty of inspiration for your new home.

Friday

• Arrive at Munich Airport before 12 noon on Friday 28th November
• Coach will take us to from Munich Airport to Erkheim (packed lunch provided)
• Coffee on arrival
• 1.30: Seminar by Tiffany Brunskill, owner of the house in Bath that was featured on Grand Designs on Channel 4 earlier this year.  She will give a candid overview of her experience with Baufritz.   
• 3.00: Tour of Die Haus Schneiderei – our state-of-the art showroom
• 4.30: Check in at hotel
• 5.00: Free time to enjoy Memmingen Christmas market
• 8.00 Meet in the hotel restaurant for dinner

Saturday

• 7.30-9.00: Breakfast in the hotel
• 9.30: Coach leaves Park Hotel for Erkheim
• 10.00: Guided tour of the factory
• 11.00: Tour of the show houses and House of Ideas, our innovation centre
• 1.00: Healthy lunch in the refreshment area at Die HausSchneiderei
• 2.00: Free time to revisit any areas of particular interest or perhaps enjoy the view from the Holzkopf (our giant timber head-shaped office)
• 3.00: Coach leaves for Munich Airport

*Baufritz will cover one night’s accommodation and all meals with the exception of dinner on Day Two.  Baufritz will also arrange and pay for transfers in Germany, all we ask is that you to pay for your own flights. 

If you are flying from a different airport or on a different flight please let us know and we would be happy to arrange alternative transfers for you.

All bookings must be finalised one week prior to travel.  The itinerary is subject to last minute change.
