Positive Response: Kevin McCloud enjoys
The Carbon Positive House
Over 10,000 visitors to Grand Designs Live flocked to see the Baufritz Carbon Positive House - a key feature at this years show. The house on display at the show was carbon positive to the extent that it locks away at least 50 tonnes more CO2 than is emitted during its manufacture, transportation and construction. Kevin McCloud, presenter of Channel 4's Grand Designs program was also clearly impressed and he made two visits to the Baufritz house during the show where he took the opportunity to chat to staff and look around the house in detail.
