KEVIN MCCLOUD DESCRIBES OUR LATEST PROJECT

Baufritz's latest project in Bath was shown on Grand Designs in February this year.  4.27 million people tuned in to watch this eco-friendly home being built (and to watch Kevin McCloud chopping parsley in a pink apron) and as a result Baufritz has received a deluge of new enquries from enthusiastic selfbuilders.

The programme's main focus was on Tiffany and Jonny's epic groundworks which cost the client more than £300,000! This episode followed Tiffany and Jonny's journey as they battled with site-related issues.  The programme also showed the couple enjoying the fun part of the project - specifying their new Baufritz home at our factory and showroom (described by Kevin McCloud as 'German housebuilding heaven') in Erkheim in Germany. The result is a truly superb Modernist building with a quite exceptional finish.
