Build | Specifiying | Off-Site Manufacturing | On-Site Manufacturing
Starting your build
Once planning permission has been given, you are ready to embark on the next stage of your self-build project. Once your order has been placed with our factory we will be able to give you a full building schedule so you know exactly what will happen and when. The lead time for manufacture is approximately 5 months and during this time you will specify your building in detail and prepare your site ready for us to arrive on-site to build the house. Stage Payments
To help you plan, here is an overview of our stage payments:
| Design Fee Payment 1 | 30% on appointment |
| Design Fee Payment 2 | 70% on preparation of drawings for planning application |
| Build Payment 1 | 10% on receipt of planning permission |
| Build Payment 2 | 10% after specifying |
| Build Payment 3 | 55% on delivery & construction of watertight shell |
| Build Payment 4 | 20% when the concrete screed is finished |
| Build Payment 5 | 5% on completion/ handover |
