Climate protection overview

We are constantly working to reduce our impact on the environment in every aspect of our business. Here are a few things we are doing to help:

THE PRODUCT	THE TRANSPORTATION
Highly insulated external walls with U-values of 0.138 W/m² * K (render clad) and 0.16 W/m² * K (timber clad)	Transportation using modern, efficient vehicles
Contemporary triple glazing as standard with U-values of 0.8 W/m² * K	Construction with specialist, low emission, cranes
Highly effective protection against overheating when glazing is shaded; no active cooling required	Use freight carriers that utilise back-loading to make return journeys more efficient
Wood pellet and solar technology has been used for years; solar panels come pre-installed in the roof	Implementation of elemental and installation block technology to reduce the number of required trips
We don’t use products that are made from fossil fuels unless there is no alternative. We use timber and technical papers etc. wherever possible
Baufritz uses natural paints made from renewable materials
We use a very high number of renewable components in our building structure
